NEW ORLEANS – Ed Orgeron didn really had time to celebrate.
After a four-hour game at Superdome and a round of media interviews, LSU football head coach went back to his hotel with his wife, Kelly, early on Tuesday and settled for a party of champions – sort of. It was about 2 am.
We have no idea what we will eat after his team defeated Clemson for the national championship, 42-25. Someone gave us some Popeyes fried chicken, so we brought it up in the room, and she ate half of her and I ate the rest. And then we go to sleep.
